We are excited to announce GM’s donation to Beyond Basics Be the Solution Campaign. This donation will benefit 500 Detroit Public School High School students in their journey to literacy. The press conference was held Monday, February 3rd, 2020 at Mumford high school, where the president of General Motors Mark Reuss spoke about the contribution to Beyond Basics and the reason for choosing Beyond Basics. Superintend of Detroit Public School Community District also spoke along with Executive Director of Beyond Basics Pam Good.
